Tickle your Ribz

ingredients

Tempeh - 300g
Scarlett's Hot sauce - 2tbsp

Tomato Puree - 2btsp
Liquid smoke - 1tsp 
Tamari/soy sauce - 1tsp
Brown sugar - 2tbsp

Salt - pinch
White pepper - pinch
Water - 3 tbsp
Onion powder - dash
Garlic powder - dash
Whiskey of your choice - 1tbsp

Method

Cut your Tempeh into strips and trim
Mix all your ingredients in a bowl
Marinade the tempeh in the fridge for at least 1 hour, over night if you can

Make sure all surfaces a covers

 

Pre heat Oven to Gas mark 7 (180c)

Place Ribz on Baking tray

Pour over excess marinade

Cook for 25mins approx

Scarlett's Jackfruit Burger

ingredients

Young Jackfruit - 300g makes 2 burgers
Scarlett's Hot sauce - 2tsp
Liquid smoke - 1tsp 
Tamari/Soy sauce - 2tsp
Brown sugar - 2tbsp

Tomato Puree - 2tbsp
Salt - Generous pinch
White pepper - pinch
Water - 2 tsp
Onion powder - pinch
Garlic powder - pinch
Apple Juice - 3tbsp

Method

Drain, rinse and mash 1 tin of young Jackfruit
Mix all your ingredients in a bowl to make marinade
Marinade the Jackfruit in the fridge for at least 1 hour, over night if you can

Make sure to cover all surfaces

Fry on high heat in 1tsp oil until soft and caramelized

Toast your favourite Bun (we got Vegan Brioche ones)

lots of tasty  vegan coleslaw

Exta Scarlett's Hot sauce

Serve with Chips or wedges

Tequila - 50ml (thats a double)
Tomato juice -150ml
Lemon Juice- 25ml
Salt - Pinch
Pepper - Crack
D7 sauce - tsp
Orange Juice (if you want to sweeten it up)

Method

Stir 

Serve over Ice in a tall glass 

with celery stick and

lemon wedge

Enjoy!
